Not at all. Some of my favourite ideas start with things people already own.

Yes, those little personal touches can be part of the design. We can decide together what suits the occasion.
Do you provide food or catering?
I focus on styling the setting, not preparing the food. If you need other services, I can point you towards people who may be able to help.
How will I know the price?
Tell me about the occasion and what you are imagining. I will prepare a quote for the agreed design and setup.
When do I pay?
Usually once everything is set up. For larger projects, where I buy a lot in advance, I may ask for part of it before. It will all be clear in your quote.
